RT @oxforddioceseOrders are coming in thick and fast for #LentPilgrim and #EasterPilgrim. Have you got yours yet? https://t.co/QIR257XdtJ
Author(s): John Kiddle
Live Lent: Let Your Light Shine takes you on a six-week discipleship journey through the Gospel of John, exploring what it means to be a witness to the Christian faith.
For each day from Ash Wednesday to Easter Day there is a short Bible reading, a pause for reflection and prayer, and an idea for a simple action that will enable the light of Jesus to shine through your life.
Live Lent: Let Your Light Shine is written in association with Thy Kingdom Come, the global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus. This is a shrink-wrapped pack of 10 copies.
John Kiddle is the Archdeacon of Wandsworth.
"It is our prayer that this booklet helps and encourages you as you take hold of God’s gift of life and live it – to the full. God offers us this life for the sake of others. The light he gives us in Jesus Christ is not to be hidden but to shine... Indeed, the more we share it and let it shine, the brighter it burns."

Looks like they will be fine for the group Lent Study.
Excellent booklet - very engaging
This book is an ideal Lent book, especially for those who do not normally have daily bible reading as part of their lives. The comments on the text are brief but very useful and the three sections Pause, Pray and Witness are helpful on a spiritual and a practical level.
I love that the study is using John's gospel - my favourite! The content is, for me, helpful and challenging, and the daily suggestions help to keep me on track more than the course I am also attending one day a week, although this has the advantage of discussion. I have not arranged to discuss the Live Lent content with anyone at church yet.
Excellent Lent booklet. Great content (good amount - enough to think about/respond to, but not too much). Relevant material - hit just the right note. And very well presented.
Small and easy to carry. A well thought out programme which people can follow at home if they are unable to attend our lent course. However we were a little confused that the weekly headings differed between the book and the group study notes
suitable for the congregation...short, attractive, easy to follow
