Christopher Herbert
Christopher Herbert was the Vicar of Bourne, near Farnham, Surrey between from 1981 to 1990. He was appointed Director of Post-Ordination Training and made a Canon of Guildford Cathedral before becoming Archdeacon of Dorking in 1990. Christopher retired as Bishop of St. Albans in 2009 after performing the role for nearly 15 years. He has compiled a number of Pocket Prayers volumes and is also a regular contributor to the Reflections for Daily Prayer series.
