In many places, Anglicans and Methodists are working together and rediscovering their shared inheritance as Christians. Now the Church of England and the Methodist Church are in formal talks with one another, and both Churches are keen to encourage everyone to participate in this developing, deepening relationship. Releasing Energy is a practical guide for those who would like to be a part of this: it offers good examples of working together at every level of the Churches´ lives, and shares the experiences of those who have worked together creatively in mission and service to their local area.
The Rev´d Flora Winfield has worked in parish ministry, as County Ecumenical Officer for Gloucestershire and as a Chaplain at Mansfield College, Oxford. She is now the Secretary for Local Unity to the Council for Christian Unity of the Archbishops´ Council.
