This booklet is the promised response from the Church of Englands House of Bishops to the Encyclical from Rome, Ut Unum Sint, which insists on the inseparable relation between the mission and the unity of the Church. Despite finding many areas in the Encyclical that Anglicans can agree with, the House of Bishops raises a number of issues where more study is needed. The response underlines the importance of the work of the Anglican - Roman Catholic International Commission and deepening Anglican - Roman Catholic relations in this country.
