EMMAUS CONSULTANTS

We currently have seven regional Emmaus consultants. They are there to help you, so do get in touch with your local advisor. Emmaus consultants are able to offer advice, run conferences, speak at events and provide additional resources.

Now a parish priest in the Brecon Beacons National Park, he is also Parish Development Adviser for the Diocese of Swansea and Brecon. He is married, with two adult children and is an experienced adult educator and trainer. Alun came across Emmaus when he was asked to manage the initial launch marketing of the programme in 1996, and still thinks it's the best thing in the marketplace. Cynthia Hebden

Cynthia HebdenBorn in Preston, Lancashire, Cynthia also spent 27 years in Anglesey, North Wales. For the last 8 years she has been living in Leicestershire, where she did a second curacy in a parish just south of the city, and was then Rector of a benefice of 5 rural villages. She is now Vicar of a large rural parish on the edge of the Charnwood Forest. Cynthia first used the Emmaus course during her curacy as a confirmation/nurture/refresher course. She liked the general content and flexibility of the course and has experienced several groups who grew together in a very special way. Since then Cynthia has used Emmaus for Lent courses and home groups. She has found that whatever anyone wants a course on you can find a 'starter pack' somewhere within Emmaus and customize it to meet the needs of your group members.
