RT @c_of_eMore than 100 people meeting at @inthebullring to mark second anniversary of @PilgrimCourse - blog by @benhollebon http://t.co/jCQZiAXKlh
Author(s): Martin Wallace
Following the patterns of everyday life, from waking to sleeping, these prayers link together the themes of Celtic spirituality: faith, creation and God. They range from the familiar prayers of the Carmina Gadelica, David Adam and the Iona community, to new prayers with the distinctive rhythm and simplicity of the Celtic tradition. Ideal for both public worship and private prayer, this title makes an attractive gift for anyone inspired by Celtic spirituality.
Martin Wallace has ministered over 40 years in industrial Sheffield, suburban Surrey, East London and remote villages in Essex. He was Archdeacon of Colchester before becoming Bishop of Selby in the Diocese of York in 2003. Along the way he was Chaplain to a 7th Century Celtic Chapel at Bradwell-On-Sea in Essex and is the author of The Celtic Resource Book and the compiler of Pocket Celtic Prayers. He has written other books on Christian healing, urban prayers and local history.
